Services: Family medicine, preventative and restorative dental care, preventative health, women's health, children's health and immunizations, prenatal and newborn care, pharmacy services, health education, family planning, STD/HIV education.

How to be a patient: Elko Family Medical and Dental Center accepts new patients. It is appreciated if you call in advance for an appointment. The Medical Center welcomes most private insurance, Medicaid, Medicare, Women's Health Connection and Nevada Check-Up. A sliding fee schedule for low-income patients who do not have insurance is available. Identification and income information is needed to enroll in the sliding fee program.

Appointments are strongly recommended; some sites do see walk-ins for emergency needs. Call the medical center to check on walk-in availability.

Prescription Refills: Ask your pharmacist to fax your request for prescription refills to the doctor; this will speed up your refill process.

Additional Information: Elko Family Medical and Dental Center opened in June 2005. Many partners made it possible to operate the Center, including Great Basin College, the Elko County Commissioners, Northeastern Nevada Medical Center, United Way of the Great Basin and other business and community donors.
