Hours: Cambridge 8:00 - 5:00 - Other WIC Clinics 7:30 - 4:30

Professional Staff: A Dietician or Nutritionist is assigned to each WIC clinic to provide nutritional counseling and oversight.

Services: Nutritional education, nutritionist counseling, social services, referrals, medical practice referrals, supplemental nutritious foods.

How to be a WIC Participant: WIC accepts pregnant women (through pregnancy and up to six weeks after birth or after pregnancy ends), breastfeeding women (up to infant's first birthday), non-breastfeeding postpartum women (up to six months after the birth of an infant or after pregnancy ends), infants (up to first birthday), and children up to their fifth birthday.

Background Information: WIC is a federally-funded short-term, supplemental nutrition program, administered by the Nevada State Health Division. Its objective is to improve the health of Nevada women, infants and children who are eligible for the program by providing supplemental nutritious foods, nutritious education, and other health and social services.
